5	REVIEW OF 2^ND CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP MEETING Discussed the Project Purpose and Need Improve safety along the route Improve the geometric characteristics of the route Provide improved Level of Service for all vehicle types Preserve the historic and pastoral nature of the region by minimizing impacts from the roadway footprint on these features.
6	REVIEW OF 2^ND CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP MEETING Discusses Possible Roadway Typical Sections Looked at the Level of Service for a 2-lane and 4-lane route. 2-lane level of service is “D” 4-lane level of service is “B”
7	REVIEW OF 2^ND CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP MEETING Divided into Subcommittees and developed a final list of criteria. Separated out design issues from weighting criteria. Design issues will be included in the minutes and carried through to the next phases of the project.
8	REVIEW OF 2^ND CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP MEETING DESIGN ISSUES IDENTIFIED: 1. Provide ample signage for tourism sites 2. Provide roadway aesthetics, particularly as a gateway to Bardstown 3. Minimize the use of aboveground utilities 4. Maximize the use of landscaping along project route
9	RESULTS OF 2nd SURVEY Mailed out 779 surveys – primarily to residents of the corridor. Received 191 responses. The responses provided the weights for the criteria list used to look at the alignments.
10	TONIGHTS MEETING Discuss peer review weights and comments Prepare final list of criteria with weights Review scores for study alignments and proposed alignments Provide comments on alignments
11	SUBCOMMITTEE EXERCISE 1 Discuss peer review weights and comments Eliminate criteria that have “insignificant” weights Eliminate criteria that are better served by another group Prepare final list of criteria with weights
