    for formal submittal to review agencies

PURPOSE OF THE CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP
  • To serve as representatives of the community
    at large
  • To assist the project team in the selection of evaluation criteria
  • To derive “weights of importance” for the evaluation criteria
  • To assist in the development of a final preferred alignment
  • To aid the project team in dispersing material
    to the community

HOW THE CITIZENS ADVISORY GROUP WAS FORMED
  • A newsletter with an application enclosed was sent to residents within the proposed corridor.
  • Each resident within the corridor had the opportunity to apply for the committee.
  • A second letter was sent to residents of specific subdivisions to seek membership
  • Goal was to have a cross section of interests represented on the CAG

    • Everyone is encouraged to express their opinions
      free of ridicule from others.
    • We will provide direct and open feedback in
      a timely manner.
    • We will attend all meetings.
    • We will start meetings on time and try to end meetings within the scheduled time.
    • We will keep our focus on the task at hand and
      avoid sidetracking, personality conflicts and
      hidden agendas.
