Environmental Assessment: Air Quality

The Air Quality Impact Assessment will be executed in accordance with current KYTC and FHWA requirements. The approved air quality model MOBILE5a will be used to develop emission factors, and CAL3QHC Version 2 will be used for the microscale analysis of CO concentrations. This work will involve on-site examination of the project area to identify potential mobile source air pollution sensitive receptors and land uses, to examine traffic modes and mixes, and to verify project intersection operations and travel links.
