Environmental Assessment: Noise

The Highway Noise Impact Assessment will be accomplished in accordance with current KYTC and FHWA requirements. Ambient noise levels will be measured with an ANSI-approved, type-2 noise meter. This phase of work will include on-site examination of the project area to locate affected sites and representative noise receptors and to record the existing sound levels. The new TNM noise model will be utilized for noise prediction and impact assessment.
